On Tuesday, Show Low made easy work of Holbrook and carried off a 19-3 win. Considering the Cougars have won 18 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Aspyn Clark made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Ari Rivera was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Addisyn Clark, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Show Low hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Winslow had just enough and edged out River Valley 6-5 on Wednesday.
Like Show Low, Winslow also got a great game from a two-way player: Kyah Wilcox. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk). Wilcox was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rylie Sharp, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and two runs. Another player making a difference was Amatiel Gonzales, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.
Show Low's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for Winslow, their victory bumped their record up to 17-11.
Show Low's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's matchup. The Cougars have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Winslow, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Show Low continue to outrun the ball?
Show Low was able to grind out a solid win over Winslow when the teams last played back in March, winning 7-3. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
