The game was Jones' 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jarques Perry, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Yazoo County has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Grenada, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.
Yazoo County will finish 2023 at home by hosting Coffeeville at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Grenada will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against New Albany at 5:45 p.m. on December 29th. New Albany presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Grenada in Mississippi (New Albany is ranked 23rd, while Grenada is ranked 179th).
