Ferguson's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cecilia Rodriguez, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sophia Diaz, who scored ten points.
Homestead's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Ferguson, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.
