Goldsboro typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Wilson Prep proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 61-54 win over the Goldsboro Cougars. The victory was just business as usual for the Tigers, who after six games remain undefeated this season.

Wilson Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaiden Brown led the charge by going 8 for 12 on her way to 22 points and four steals. Brown is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Paris Best, who went 6 of 13 on her way to 17 points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Wilson Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 11 consecutive games dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why Goldsboro lost, don't look at Aziyah Boyer. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. The matchup was Boyer's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Des'Myah Croom, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds.

Wilson Prep's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game.
