The matchup between South Greene and West Greene on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Rebels put the hurt on the Buffaloes with a sharp 13-7 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Rebels sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Whitney Reaves, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and three doubles. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Madison Hensley was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

South Greene always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in four consecutive contests.

South Greene's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for West Greene, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

South Greene and North Greene will meet in a classic North v. South matchup at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Greene, they will face off against Happy Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Buffaloes are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
