On the hitting side, Sophie Roe was a standout: she scored two runs while going 4-for-5. That's the most runs she has posted over her last nine matches. Another player making a difference was Kylee Snearly, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Central A & M always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shelbyville only posted an OBP of .276.
Meanwhile, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg never let their opponents score on Monday. They came out on top against Neoga by a score of 3-0.
Kendra Hayes made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Hayes was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
