Hart is a perfect 10-0 against Canyon since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Hart's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last five games.
Hart's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Castaic 49-0. The Hawks have beaten the Coyotes the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Coyotes has come to flipping the script.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hart to victory, but perhaps none more so than Matix Frithsmith, who picked up 132 receiving yards and two scores, and also rushed for 46 yards and a pair of TDs. Frithsmith is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another passer making a difference was Jacob Paisano, who gained 293 total yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hart was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 222 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 153 rushing yards in five consecutive matchups.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Devin Thompson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Canyon played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Valencia, falling 55-3. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 529th, while the Vikings are ranked 50th).
This is the second loss in a row for Canyon and nudges their season record down to 1-7. As for Hart, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
Hart took their victory against Canyon when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 61-40 score. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Cowboys' Sebastian Martinez, who rushed for 19 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 177 yards and one TD.
