Pathway Christian struggled with  assists on Tuesday (the Morning Star Academy Mustangs had 12 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Pathway Christian suffered a  tough 52-31 defeat at the hands of Morning Star Academy. Pathway Christian has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Despite the  loss, Pathway Christian had strong showings from  Ryker Miller, who  scored 12 points along with two  steals, and  Denver Nelson, who  scored ten points.
  Gavin Trotter continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Morning Star Academy,  dropping  a double-double on 24 points and 12  rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Trotter has scored at least a third of Morning Star Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Josiah Curry, who  scored ten points along with two  steals.
 Pathway Christian has  not been sharp recently as the team's  lost eight of their last ten matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Morning Star Academy, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Pathway Christian will face off against Morning Star Academy at 1:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Pathway Christian focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday. As for Morning Star Academy, they will square off against Pathway Christian at 1:00  p.m. Pathway Christian and Morning Star Academy are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
