The Ferndale Yellow Jackets posted their biggest victory yet this season on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 64-39 margin over Hyndman Charter School.
Among those leading the charge was Derrick Buchkoski, who scored 16 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Connor Hrivnak, who scored seven points along with three steals.
The victory got Ferndale back to even at 7-7. As for Hyndman Charter School, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Ferndale will be playing at home against Shanksville Stonycreek at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Shanksville Stonycreek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Thursday. As for Hyndman Charter School, they will head out on the road to face off against Salisbury Elk Lick at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Salisbury Elk Lick is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
