Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley). Everything went their way against the Wayne Badgers on Friday as they made off with a 15-1 victory. The Buffalos have beaten the Badgers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Badgers has come to flipping the script.

Weston Baird was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Payson Harris, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with four runs and two RBI.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Wayne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Valley is taking a road trip to challenge Panguitch at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Buffalos will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last six contests. As for Wayne, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-1 victory against Tintic on the 20th.
