Stepanik has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  a single  hit in three consecutive pitching appearances. Stepanik was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Mark Williams was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played.
 Meanwhile, NOVA HomeSchool came up short against Seton last Monday and fell  8-4.
 Avalon pushed their record up to 6-2 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.6 runs per game. As for NOVA HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
