It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Nova Titans had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They breezed by the Jaguars on the road to the tune of 67-12. Nova has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 23 points or more this season.
Nova found their leader in underclassman Jaelynn Housey, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Housey is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last 16 games she's played. Nayeli Firmin was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Nova is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.
Nova will take on South Broward at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Broward is coming into the match with seven straight wins on the road, so Nova is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. Pembroke Pines Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
