The York Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 13th straight loss. They were outmatched by Lancaster on the road and fell 63-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points York has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why York lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bryson Steele. Despite the final result, he scored seven points.
York dropped their record down to 5-17 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Lancaster, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. York will take on South Pointe at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. York is facing South Pointe at the right time seeing as South Pointe is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lancaster, they will be playing at home against Indian Land at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Indian Land will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lancaster surely won't give up without a fight.
