After flying high against Galeton  last Monday, Oswayo Valley came back down to earth. The Green Wave lost  28-20 to the Port Allegany Gators on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  last Monday (17), the Green Wave still had to take the loss.
Oswayo Valley dropped their record down to 1-3 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road dating back to last season. Those  road  losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 10.3 runs this season. As for Port Allegany, their record now sits at 5-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oswayo Valley will square off against Cowanesque Valley at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Port Allegany, they will challenge Bradford at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Gators are facing the Owls at the right time seeing as the Owls are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
