Legion Collegiate Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Central Academy Cougars with a sharp 10-1 win.

At the plate, Andres Lopez was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Blackwelder, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Coming up, Legion Collegiate Academy will head out on the road to challenge Gray Collegiate Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Central Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars challenge the Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
