 Maddie Kaczmarczyk made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits. Kaczmarczyk was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Maeson Smith, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.  Sallie Oldham was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 Chatham Central took their  win against Eastern Randolph  when the teams last played  on Monday by a conclusive  12-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chatham Central since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
