St. Frederick won against Delta Charter last Tuesday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. At the plate, Day scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Degravelle scored two runs while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, St. Frederick got a massive performance out of Kyndall Taylor, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave Taylor a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Clampit, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
St. Frederick has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Block, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-20.
Coming up, St. Frederick will host Oak Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
