Collegedale Academy took a 50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy on Thursday. Collegedale Academy has struggled against Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy recently, as their match on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy to victory were Howard Rivers and Zaki Parham. Rivers scored 11 points along with two steals, while Parham scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Parham grabbed two or more steals. Another player making a difference was Kye Davis, who scored nine points.
Collegedale Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
Collegedale Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mishawaka HomeSchool W at 2:00 p.m. on January 26th. Mishawaka HomeSchool W is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy, they will face off against Varsity Opponent at 4:10 p.m. on Thursday. Varsity Opponent is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
