The Bennett Clippers can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They blew past Mardela, posting a 88-28 win at home. The victory was nothing new for Bennett as they're now sitting on four straight.
Leading Bennett to victory were Zakai Smullen and Jace Hudson. Smullen scored 18 points along with six assists and six rebounds, while Hudson scored 19 points along with nine steals. Hudson has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Darion Collins, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Bennett's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.67 points. As for Mardela, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
Bennett will head out on the road to take on Arcadia at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mardela, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Parkside at 6:00 p.m. Parkside is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
