Center Place won the last time they faced the Overland Christian Eagle, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Center Place blew past Overland Christian 52-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Center Place.
Center Place had a senior duo take command as Patience Drope dropped a double-double on 11 points and 18 rebounds and Autumn Kroesen scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds and 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Charity Drope, who scored 7 points along with 12 rebounds.
Center Place's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Overland Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Center Place will head out on the road to face off against Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Plaza Heights Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight last Tuesday. As for Overland Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heartland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Heartland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 36 on Tuesday.
