Rahway had lost five straight on the road, but  on Thursday they dropped their record down to 5-12 to make it six. They came up short against  the Franklin Warriors, falling  13-0.  At the plate,  Izaiah Robinson was a standout: he got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Franklin is 5-1 when  Robinson posts two or  more  runs, but 3-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Patrick Ziegler, who  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rahway will take on North Plainfield at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Canucks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3  runs per game  this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Franklin, they will square off against Bridgewater-Raritan on Monday.
