Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Life Prep). They really took it to the Independent Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 95-20 victory. With the Fire ahead 60-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Quinton Rolle Jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. Those 25 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Michael Munnings, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 16 points and five steals.

Life Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive matches.

Life Prep is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Independent, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Life Prep will take on Weatherford in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Independent, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Independent Panthers challenge the Hayden Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
