After flying high against Murray County  last Friday, Coahulla Creek came back down to earth. The Coahulla Creek Colts received a  blow  on Friday as they fell  35-20 to the Union County Panthers.
  Waelyn Baliles and  Andrew Russell certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss.  Baliles threw for 180 yards and two touchdowns, while  Russell picked up 101 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
  Connor Schuknecht continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Union County, rushing for 126 yards and two touchdowns. With that strong performance,  Schuknecht is now averaging an impressive 102.5  rushing yards per game.  Maddox Young was another key player, picking up 79 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Coahulla Creek's loss was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Union County, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record  this season.
 Coahulla Creek will face off against North Murray at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Union County, they will challenge Sonoraville at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Union County is facing Sonoraville at the right time seeing as Sonoraville is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
