The Crane Cranes and the Roosevelt Eagles squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Crane Cranes had to settle for second. They took a 20-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. Crane's defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Roosevelt's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bramdon Raven, who rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Roosevelt also got a significant boost from Nate Casarez, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 107 yards.
Crane's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Roosevelt, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
Crane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Roosevelt is on the road again on Friday and play against Wall at 5:00 p.m. on November 24th. Wall's defense has only allowed 7.4 points per game this season, so Roosevelt's offense will have their work cut out for Roosevelt.
