The Richland Bears will be defending their home-field for the first time this season they go up against the Stoutland Tigers  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
 Richland is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They lost  13-1 to Iberia on Friday. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
 Meanwhile, Stoutland had to endure  a  five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Crocker  a   16-0 shutout  on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shutout in their previous   matchup.
 Richland suffered a grim  9-0 defeat to Stoutland  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2018. Can Richland avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
