After vacillating on his decision to play football for LSU next season, Redemptorist (Baton Rouge) running back
Jeremy Hill has recommitted to the Tigers, a source told the Times-Picayune of New Orleans.
Hill had expressed interest in Auburn and Alabama but reaffirmed his LSU commitment as did teammate and offensive lineman
La'el Collins. Hill and Collins originally committed to LSU in September of 2009.
Hill rushed for 2,203 yards and 36 touchdowns this past season for the Wolves, who finished with an 11-2 record after losing in the Class 3A state quarterfinals.
Hill's decision preceded
Odell Beckham Jr.'s announcement that he, too, will play for the Tigers. Beckham, a wide receiver for Isidore Newman (New Orleans), chose LSU over Miami. Beckham's father was an LSU running back from 1990-92 and his mother, Heather Van Norman, was an all-american track athlete for the Lady Tigers.
