The Scotlandville Hornets were the 28-24 winner over the Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Scotlandville took a 24-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodlawn-B.R. Scotlandville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Scotlandville's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Darren London, who rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns, and Ferzell Shepard jr who picked up 67 receiving yards and a touchdown. Shepard jr was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 66 yards.
Scotlandville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Woodlawn-B.R., they pushed their record up to 3-7 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Scotlandville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Woodlawn-B.R. will head out on the road to face off against Huntington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
