Football Recap: Santa Margarita Skates Past Dana Hills with Ease

There's no place like home for Santa Margarita, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Dana Hills Dolphins 34-0. Considering the Eagles have won seven games by more than 19 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Madi Lam was her usual excellent self, throwing for 332 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.7% of her passes. Those 332 passing yards gave her a new career-high. Santa Margarita's leading receiver Avery Finneran was Lam's top target yet again, picking up 107 receiving yards and one score.

Santa Margarita's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.4 points over those games. As for Dana Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
