Smith Mcgarvey Turns in Season-Best Performance
Smith Mcgarvey produced his most outstanding game to date while leading North Hall to the win on Friday. Mcgarvey rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.
The victory (which was North Hall's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. They and Johnson are set to duel on Friday.

Tommy Young was a major factor in Greater Atlanta Christian's victory over White County on Friday. White County had no answer to Young as he rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 108 yards and a touchdown.
Greater Atlanta Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Young and Greater Atlanta Christian will challenge Pickens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
