Groton-Dunstable moved up to 106 from 137 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Midland Wachusett - B. The Crusaders climbed the ranks as a result of topping North Middlesex Regional 26-7.
Marlborough extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Westborough, 34-24. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Groton-Dunstable takes on Algonquin Regional. At the moment, Derek Asadoorian's team is in fourth, while the Tomahawks are in sixth.
The Crusaders made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,106 from 7,245. The improvement was the result of a 26-7 victory over the Patriots last week.
