If Hillsborough was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of The Pingry School last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders fell just short of the Madison Dodgers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hillsborough actually scored more points across those three sets (70-65), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Hillsborough's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Madison, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Hillsborough didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against South Plainfield on the 27th. Madison has also already played their next contest (against Jefferson Township), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
