Tower Hill extended the longest winning streak in Independent this week by beating Morrisville, 14-12. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Hillers.
Tower Hill and the Bulldogs played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Tower Hill eventually emerging with a 14-12 victory.
St. Andrew's's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Austin Tilghman threw for 22 and one touchdown and Nnana Amakiri had 22 yards receiving. On the ground Tilghman chipped in 329 yards.
St. Andrew's' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cardinals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tilghman has thrown for 114 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Joe Hines has three catches for 91 yards. Tilghman also leads the league in rushing with 1843 yards.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Wilmington Friends takes on Kevin Waesco's team. The Quakers have allowed 162 points this season, while the Hillers have given up 121.
The Cardinals took down Perkiomen 35-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Tilghman in the win.
