After constant struggles on the road, Melcher-Dallas have finally found some success away from home. They put a hurting on Meskwaki Settlement to the tune of 74-14. Melcher-Dallas were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Melcher-Dallas back to even at 4-4. Meskwaki Settlement are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-8.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Melcher-Dallas will look to defend their home turf next week against Collins-Maxwell. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Melcher-Dallas and Collins-Maxwell will really light up the scoreboard. As for Meskwaki Settlement, they will face off against Baxter. Meskwaki Settlement will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
