Softball Recap: Weston Extends Winning Streak to Three

Weston won against Ruston on Saturday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Weston Wolves beat the Ruston Bearcats by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-5. The victory was just business as usual for the Wolves, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Weston's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ruston, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Weston will challenge Dodson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ruston, they will square off against D'Arbonne Woods at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. D'Arbonne Woods has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something Ruston will no doubt try to take advantage of.
