The Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots won the last time they faced the Timberlake Christian Tornadoes, and things went their way on Thursday too. Lynchburg HomeSchool breezed by Timberlake Christian on the road to the tune of 67-35. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-17.
Timberlake Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrian Warrick, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Billy Shumaker, who scored eight points.
The win got Lynchburg HomeSchool back to even at 5-5. As for Timberlake Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Lynchburg HomeSchool will head out on the road to face off against Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Timberlake Christian, they will be playing at home against Fuqua at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
