The Collinsville Kahoks will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Glenwood Titans at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Collinsville's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight games.
Last Tuesday, Collinsville was able to grind out a solid win over O'Fallon, taking the game 58-48. Given Collinsville's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while O'Fallon is ranked 42nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Collinsville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamorie Wysinger, who scored 23 points. Wysinger continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Nick Horras, who scored 15 points along with seven assists.
In what's become a running theme this season, Glenwood gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They put the hurt on Decatur Eisenhower with a sharp 57-35 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Glenwood.
Collinsville's win bumped their record up to 25-3. As for Glenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.
