On Thursday, Florida School for the Deaf are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Halifax Academy at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-55, which was the final score in Florida School for the Deaf's tilt against Oak Hall last Thursday. Florida School for the Deaf were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-41.
Meanwhile, Halifax Academy found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-27 punch to the gut against Taylor last week.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
