Volleyball Recap: Rice Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Rice not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 12th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Milford with a sharp 3-0 win. Rice has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Milford, too.

Rice never let Milford on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-4, 25-23.

Rice's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-5. As for Milford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Rice will take on Dawson in a tournament on Thursday. As for Milford, they will face off against Kopperl at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
