Eugene waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Dixon Bulldogs. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Drew Hart was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Jack Libbert, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs.

Eugene pushed their record up to 19-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Dixon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Eugene will be playing at home against Calvary Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dixon, they will venture away from home to face off against Osage at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
