They enjoyed a cozy 86-67 victory over New Hope Leadership Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Leading Comenius to victory were Promit Saha and Donovin Jones. Saha scored 20 points, while Jones scored 25 points along with 5 assists. Another player making a difference was Parker Long, who scored 9 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why New Hope Leadership Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Sugar Eaton . Despite the final result, he scored 34 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Eaton scored a full 50.7% of New Hope Leadership Academy's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Levi Hoggons was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Comenius' victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4.
