The Castle View Sabercats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 30 points or more this season. They blew past Hinkley, posting a 59-29 victory at home. The win was just what Castle View needed coming off of a 73-47 loss in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for Vitorio Dante, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for he. Another player making a difference was Evan Mckean, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Castle View has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Hinkley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Castle View will head out on the road to face off against Arvada West at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Arvada West focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Saturday. Hinkley will be home for the holidays to greet Gateway at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
