Bishop Moore has gone a perfect 3-0 against Edgewater recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hornets will head out to square off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Bishop Moore is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Bishop Moore took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Davenport, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hornets skirted past the Broncos 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hornets have posted since March 7th.

Riley Johnson made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Johnson was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

In other batting news, Ariana Lara was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

Bishop Moore always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Meanwhile, Edgewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 30-28 heartbreaker at the hands of Jones. Even if the Eagles couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Edgewater's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bishop Moore, their record now sits at 7-12.

Everything went Bishop Moore's way against Edgewater in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Bishop Moore made off with a 16-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
