A big part of Westminster Christian's win came down to the chemistry between Anthony Vera and his top target Conneilus Miller Jr. Vera threw for 239 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 passes while Miller Jr picked up 130 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Miller Jr got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 90 yards. Britton Bayag was in the mix as well, providing Westminster Christian with two touchdowns.
Somerset Academy South Homestead's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Westminster Christian, their record is now 2-8.
