The Greer Middle College Blazers had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.4 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They took down Landrum 69-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Greer Middle College also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.
Despite the defeat, Landrum saw an underclassman step up: AJ Lindsey scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lindsey has scored all season. Benett Edwards was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Greer Middle College is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. As for Landrum, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-6.
