Soccer Recap: Smyrna Victorious

The Smyrna Eagles had just enough and edged out the Newark Yellowjackets 3-2 on Friday.

The win got Smyrna back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Smyrna will square off against Polytech at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give Smyrna their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Newark, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 7-3 defeat against ASPIRA Charter on the 8th.
