Celeste's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mya Mainord, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Taylea West, who scored 17 points along with 5 steals.
Celeste's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Boles, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
Celeste will square off against Cumby at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. Cumby will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1204th, while Celeste is ranked 387th). Boles' road trip will continue as they head out to face Rio Vista at 2:20 p.m. on November 30th.
