The Centerville Miners will face off against Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Centerville, who comes in off a win.
Centerville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They breezed by Highwood at home to the tune of 58-29.
Cole Noble and Luke Kelley were among the main playmakers for Centerville as the former scored 15 points and the latter scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Mason Kerkes, who scored 8 points.
Meanwhile, Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 51-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Melstone.
Centerville's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
