 In other batting news, Hazleton Area got a  massive  performance out of  Olivia Williams, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, four  runs,  and four  RBI.  Marissa Hoffman was another key contributor,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 Hazleton Area will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Lake-Lehman at 4:15  p.m. Hazleton Area will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Elk Lake at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
