The Weber Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Farmington Phoenix at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Weber is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 12-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Weber suffered their biggest defeat since December 14, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against Davis, falling 58-26. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Weber has suffered against Davis since January 5, 2021.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Rylee Jugler, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds. Logyn Howell was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Farmington's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Syracuse 68-30. Farmington has struggled against Syracuse recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Weber's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Farmington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.
Weber beat Farmington 53-42 in their previous meeting on January 12th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Weber since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
