The Oak Hills Highlanders will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Elder Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Oak Hills focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
Last Friday, Oak Hills didn't have too much trouble with Mason at home as they won 60-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Oak Hills.
Henry Maginn and Nate Riep were among the main playmakers for Oak Hills as the former scored 18 points along with two steals and the latter scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bobby Stidham, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, after a string of 11 wins, Elder's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 48-34 bruising from Archbishop Moeller. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Elder has scored all season.
Oak Hills is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Elder, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-1.
